MIRIAH'S STORY

On October 21, 2016, Miriah Katherine Herport (27), overdosed on heroin and fentanyl. On October 29, 2016, she lost her battle with addiction when she was taken off life support surrounded by her loved ones . Miriah was a mother of three beautiful daughters. Aleeyah, Ava, and Hannah. She was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and beloved friend to so many people.

Although the struggles she faced the last five months of her life, ultimately ended her life. That was only a small portion of her life and does not define the wonderful, warm, giving, and caring human being that she was. Miriah was an adoring mother to her 3 daughters, a talented artist, enjoyed making crafts, enjoyed cooking, and world history buff.

Our hope is that Miriah's story inspires and impacts others.
